Clear Brook High School Given All Clear After Bomb Threat

Students were released early after a bomb squad gave an all clear for a bomb threat called into the campus Tuesday morning.

FRIENDSWOOD, TX — Clear Brook High School was given an all clear after a bomb squad searched the campus following a bomb threat to the school Tuesday morning, according to an alert on the school's website.

Students were given an early release at 1:30 p.m., according to the message, and lunches were provided for students who wished to eat at the school.

"It has certainly been a long day for students and staff at Clear Brook High School," Clear Creek ISD said in the alert. "The comprehensive search of the school has been completed and the all-clear has been given."

Athletics and extracurricular activities will still be held as scheduled, according to school district officials.
