Clear Creek School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Clear Creek is August 21. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Clear Creek Independent School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 8/14 - 8/18: Teacher Inservice
• 8/21: First Day of School

September

• 9/4: No School (Labor Day)
• 9/20: High School Late Arrival

October

• 10/6: No School for Students (Teacher Inservice)
• 10/13: Elementary and Intermediate Early Release
• 10/25: High School Late Arrival

November

• 11/7: No School for Students (Teacher Inservice)
• 11/15: High School Late Arrival
• 11/20 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/22: Early Release, End of First Semester
• 12/25 - 1/5: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1 - 1/5: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/8: No School for Students (Teacher Work Day)
• 1/9: Start of First Semester
• 1/15: No School for Students (Teacher Inservice)
• 1/24: High School Late Arrival

February

• 2/7: High School Late Arrival
• 2/9: Elementary and Intermediate Early Release

March
