Join the City of Seabrook on Saturday, November 13 at 11 am at the Bay Area Veterans Memorial located at 1106 Main Street in Seabrook, for a special Honoring Our Veterans ceremony thanking and honoring all veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice to the United States. In addition, this special event will commemorate service members who have died with their remains unidentified. 2021 marks the centennial of The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is the final resting place for unknowns from World War I, World War II, and Korean War and it is guarded at all times. The space for the Vietnam Unknown is dedicated to honoring all missing service members.
Since 1921, the neoclassical, white marble sarcophagus stands atop a hill overlooking Washington, D.C. The Tomb has also served as a place of mourning and a site for reflection on military service.

This Veterans event is hosted by the City of Seabrook and the Sam Houston Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
