Clear Lake Man Hurt When Neighbor Crashes SUV Into His Home

Police are looking for the man who backed his SUV into the side of his neighbors house on Tuesday night, and drove away.

CLEAR LAKE, TEXAS — A Clear Lake man was injured Tuesday night after his neighbor backed his SUV into his home, and then took off, police said. The crash happened at about 11 p.m. in the 900 block of Wavecrest Lane.

A witness told police that he saw the neighbor across the street back the SUV into the home and drive off.

The injured man was in an office inside the home at the time of the crash, and was hit by debris.

He was taken to an area hospital and is expected to be OK.

A woman and a 10-year-old child were also in the home, but they were not injured, officials said.

Police are looking for the driver of the SUV. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
