Deer Park Unites As Community Of Prayer At Annual Event
The Mayor's Evening of Community Praise will take place April 25 at the Jimmy Burke Activity Center.
DEER PARK, TX — A tradition of bringing the Deer Park community to prayer and unity will take place on April 25. The event, known for years as the Mayor’s Evening of Community Praise, unites community and church leaders to strengthen the Deer Park community.
The event comes just a month after an explosion rocked the ITC petrochemical facility and ignited fires that burned for nearly four days.
The event which will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Jimmy Burke Activity Center, costs $10 for entry and covers the cost of food and other expenses.
