Find Out What's Open And Closed On The Bay For July 4th?

What's Closed? City, County and Federal offices are, but the cops, fire, and EMS are hard at work.

HOUSTON, TX -- Independence Day is here and that means all local, county, state, and federal offices are closed on July 4th to celebrate our nation's independence.

What will be open will be police and fire departments, hospitals and ambulance services.

Offices that will be closed include:

  • Harris County Offices and Municipal Courts
  • Houston
  • Pasadena
  • Galena Park
  • Brazoria County Offices and Municipal Courts
  • Seabrook
  • Friendswood
  • Pearland
  • Alvin
  • League City
  • Santa Fe
  • Kemah
  • Clear Lake

Trash services will not operate on Wednesday, and will resume the following day.
