Firefighters get together in Pasadena to help each other out
Firefighters from throughout the Houston region are coming together to raise money to help injured smoke-eaters.
Pasadena, TX--Firefighters from the Houston-area are holding a weekend long benefit at the Pasadena Convention Center and Fairgrounds, 7902 Fairmont Parkway, on June 18 and June 19. The event raises money for firehelpingfire.org, a non-profit that helps firefighters in crisis.
Over the two-day event there will be vendors, live music, and a washer pitch tournament. And since it is Texas, there will also be cookoffs and drink contests.
