Galveston to Renew DEA Task Force

The Galveston County Commissioners' Court will vote to renew the task force agreement with the DEA.

GALVESTON, TX — The Galveston County Commissioners' Court is set to vote today, July 25, on renewing a task force agreement with the Drug Enforcement Agency.

The year-long agreement requires the DEA to assign four agents and resources to a task force, the Galveston County Sheriff's Office will also detail one experienced deputy to the task force.

The agreement is renewed annually.
