Halloween 2018: Tracking Clear Lake Area Sex Offenders

CLEAR LAKE, TX — It's the Halloween season and while kids everywhere are looking forward to costumes and mapping their trick or treating route, parents are looking forward to the crisp fall air and thinking of ways of keeping their children safe on the spookiest night of the year.

However, its also that time of year when police are ensuring sex offenders are registered and complying with the law.

To help ensure your child's safety, the Texas DPS website has recently updated the list of registered sex offenders in the Clear Lake area.

Patch has created a map you can use in conjunction with the DPS database that can show you were the sex offenders are in your neighborhood.

In Clear Lake alone, there are six mapped sex offenders and one unmapped sex offender, You can find others on the Patch map listed in other communities, or you can find the sex offenders in your area by checking the DPS Sex Offender Registry, and typing in your address, or zip code.
