CLEAR LAKE, TX -- A Harris County Game Warden who was checking for saltwater fishing violations recently along the State Highway 146 bridge near Clear Lake, arrested an undocumented immigrant on various charges.
The game warden said he was making his rounds in the area, when he saw two men fishing underneath the Texas Highway 146 Bridge in an area clearly marked with “No Trespassing” signs.
When he got a little closer to the men, the game warden said he could smell the odor of marijuana.

The game warden became concerned and immediately handcuffed the man, so he could do a pat down search.
It was during this search that he found a semi-automatic pistol with the serial numbers scratched out in the man's waist band.
The game warden also discovered a small amount of marijuana during the pat down search, as well that the man had a fake resident card, and a fake social security card.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection was called to confirm the status of the individuals.
One of the men was arrested for unlawfully carrying a weapon, and will also face felony charges with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, as well as deportation.
