Seabrook Encourages Water Reduction
Seabrook City Hall is asking water customers to reduce consumption.

Seabrook, TX -- Seabrook City Hall is asking residents and water customers to limit water consumption. Over the weekend of July 9 and July 10 the Seabrook used 2.55 million gallons of water.
Under Seabrook's drought plan if water consumption remains at 2.55 million gallons per day for five consecutive days the city must implement stage 1 water restrictions. Stage 1 restrictions include limiting the hours and days a person can water their lawn.
While the area is not in a drought, the restrictions will be implemented because Seabrook's water contract with Pasadena only allows for the purchase of 3 million gallons of water per day.
