Umbrella Wielding Robber Hits Galveston Bank
A man carrying an umbrella robbed a Galveston bank.

GALVESTON, TX — It sounds like the beginning to a Batman story, but it's true. In a daring daylight robbery, a masked man, armed only with an umbrella, waltzed into a Galveston Bank, hopped up on the counter and demanded money.
The bizarre sequence of events occurred on Thursday, July 21, at the Capital One Bank, 6229 Stewart Rd. The perpetrator was wearing a brimmed hat, a long sleeve shirt, gloves and a red bandana over his face.
