Here are the top three stories today in Dallas:

  1. The Dallas Police Department reports that a five-year-old child was shot while two individuals exchanged gunfire on Sunday night. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of Carbona Drive in southeast Dallas. The child is currently in stable condition. The department is conducting an investigation into the shooting.   2. Dallas educators can get a free medium coffee (hot or iced) on Thursday from participating Dunkin' locations. The free distribution is meant as a way to share an appreciation for local educators.   3. The Dallas Hot Girl Walking Club is inviting the community to participate in its weekly walks around the community.
