Trailside Commons will bring two new dining venues in addition to 140 residences with 18 unique floor plans

Highland Springs, an Erickson Senior Living community in North Dallas, Tex., is now accepting reservations for Trailside Commons, its newest residence building!

Trailside Commons, expected to be completed later this year, will bring 140 new residences and exciting amenities to the sought-after community.

"This year, Highland Springs will celebrate 20 years," says Sales Director Christina Christie. "Our community has grown so much over the past two decades to meet the high demand for our vibrant, worry-free lifestyle."

Trailside Commons will offer 18 unique floor plans, two of which are brand-new.

"We take current and future residents' feedback into consideration when selecting the floor plans," explains Christie. "As a result, the building will include spacious one-bedroom residences with one-and-a-half baths as well as larger two-bedroom, two-bath homes with dens."

The new residences were also designed with space and light in mind, boasting large windows; balconies, patios, or porches; and open living spaces. Each kitchen will feature gorgeous quartz countertops, sleek new appliances, and modern hardware and accessories.

"Many floor plans include walk-in closets, and all have in-home laundry," notes Christie.

Want to personalize your home? No problem! Highland Springs' Custom Interiors team is available to help incoming residents place the finishing touches on their new home, based on their specific style and preferences.

Dining deliciously

Trailside Commons' amenities, including two new dining venues, are just as impressive.

"We're thrilled to announce the addition of Pegasus, a restaurant and bar featuring outdoor dining, and Skyline, a new grab-and-go cafe," says Dining Services Director Humza Shaikh. "Our goal has always been to create destinations, not duplications, and these two new venues are key in fulfilling that vision."

Pegasus, a full-service, sit-down restaurant featuring an exhibition-style kitchen, will be the first of its kind at Highland Springs. Open for lunch and dinner, Pegasus will serve fresh, delicious meals prepared right before residents' eyes.

With conveniently packaged sandwiches and salads on the menu, Skyline will provide even more variety for residents on the move.

"We strive to keep the dining experience fresh and exciting for residents," says Shaikh. "In addition to Pegasus and Skyline, incoming residents will have eight other restaurants to choose from on campus."

Amenities abound

Trailside Commons will also boast a media lounge and creative arts studio.

Outside, the building's beautifully landscaped grounds will include a lush, peaceful courtyard, complete with walking paths, where residents can enjoy a stroll in the fresh air or some meditative quiet time.

Because Trailside Commons will connect directly to Eastside Village Clubhouse, incoming residents will have convenient access to the clubhouse's fitness center, lounge, woodshop, pickleball court, and reading room as well.

The Crescent Club restaurant, also located in Eastside Village, is a real hot spot on campus. It has a 53-seat bar and outdoor dining.

In addition, the community's 89-acre campus boasts bocce courts, billiards tables, outdoor putting greens, and an indoor golf simulator.

Don't wait!

Current residents are excited to welcome their Trailside Commons neighbors later this year.

"We anticipate move-ins to begin later this summer," Christie says. "Reservations for Trailside Commons are already underway, so I encourage people considering a move to Highland Springs to join the Priority List."

She continues, "In addition to saving a spot in line for a residence in Trailside Commons, Priority List members have the opportunity to attend informational and social events, dine at on-campus restaurants, and chat with current residents. It's the best way to get to know our community and experience all that Highland Springs has to offer."

Now serving more than 1,650 residents, Highland Springs has evolved over the years to best meet the needs of current and future residents.

"The announcement of each new residence building ushers in an exciting time of growth!" says Christie.
