11 Injured When Car Crashes Into Austin Food Truck Crowd
At least nine people were hospitalized Friday night after the car plowed into the crowd shortly after 8 p.m.
AUSTIN, TX — Multiple people were hospitalized Friday night after a car plowed into a crowd standing near a food truck in Austin, according to reports.
The crash happened just before 8:20 p.m. near 1800 Barton Springs, Austin-Travis County EMS confirmed in a tweet. Officials said the car hit several pedestrians before crashing into the food truck.
Two victims suffered potentially life-threatening injuries while two others sustained "potentially serious" injuries, Capt. Christa Stedman of Austin-Travis County EMS told CNN.
