2 Pedestrians Struck In Austin Within 12-Hour Span
The first incident on Saturday between the 8900-9931 block of FM 812 resulted in a fatality while a second incident led to serious injuries.
AUSTIN, TX — Two pedestrians were struck by vehicles on Austin roadways on Saturday, including one who sustained fatal injuries.
The two incidents occurred within a 12-hour period of each other. The first incident happened at around 9 a.m. between the 8900-9931 block of FM 812, near Creedmoor Drive, according to Austin-Travis County EMS officials. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second incident occurred just past 7 p.m. at South Congress Avenue and West Stassney Lane at about 8:40 p.m., according to medics. There, medics transported an adult patient to St. David's South Hospital with injuries considered serious but not life-threatening.
