5.12K Run To Brunch Seeks To Raise Funds For Cancer Survivors

AUSTIN, TX — Keep Austin Weird invites runners to take part in its 5.12K Run to Brunch benefiting LIVESTRONG on Sunday, Sept. 22 beginning at 7:30 a.m. Participants will run their way to a post-race brunch and enjoy delicious food from Austin's Pizza, Comedor, COVER 3, Eberly, Grizzelda's, Jacoby's, Juliet Italian Kitchen, Lin Asian Bar + Dim Sum Restaurant, LORO, Max's Wine Dive, Ooga Booga Waffles, Snooze: an AM Eatery, Sway Thai, TRACE, Taverna and Z Tejas.

Participants will enjoy complimentary brunch cocktails, great local live music, and activities throughout the morning. Once the finish line is crossed, 5K and 10K runners will make their way to the Finish Line Expo where runners can find brands representative of the "Keep Austin Weird" motto. Keep Austin Weird and its 5.12 K Run to Brunch brings together Austin's best — business, restaurants, chefs, talent, and personalities to create a uniquely Austin event.

All funds raised for the registration to the 5.12K Run to Brunch benefits LIVESTRONG and their pursuits to fight cancer. Austin-headquartered LIVESTRONG works to improve the lives of people affected by cancer, now. By providing direct services to those affected by cancer and connecting people and communities with the services needed, LIVESTRONG donations help survivors and their families mitigate some of the challenges of a cancer diagnosis.
