Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Lakeline Hosts RBG Memorial Screenings

AUSTIN, TX — Join friends and neighbors to celebrate the extraordinary life of Ruth Bader Ginsburg with a memorial screenings of the films, On the Basis of Sex— a biographical film based on the life and early cases of the Supreme Court Justice, and RBG — a documentary exploring Ginsburg 's exceptional life and career featuring commentary from a host of cultural and political luminaries. Proceeds from the screenings support the ACLU Foundation's Women’s Rights Project.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and following recommended safety guidelines, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has implemented procedures to ensure the health and well-being of staff and guests including:

• asking guests to please maintain 6 ft. of physical distancing at all times
• requiring guests to keep masks on at all times unless if eating or drinking
• asking guests and staff to wash hands frequently
• temperature checks upon arrival
• exit by row
• guests experiencing symptoms such as coughing, sneezing or those who may have been exposed are asked to please stay home, with refunds gladly offered
