Annual Fundraiser Held Ahead Of EAST Austin Studio Tour

AUSTIN, TX — When describing Austin's allure, it's not unusual for locals and non-locals to reference the vibrant creative community and its thriving art scene. From quirky to cerebral, the creative landscape in Austin is innovative and exciting. Big Medium will kick off its EAST Austin Studio Tour with Due EAST, the official kick off party and fundraiser in support of local artists and community access to the arts.

Attendees will be able to pick up a copy of the EAST catalog and map ahead of the tour and experience the nearly 400 artists set to convene for the 2019 EAST Austin Studio Tour Group Exhibition. The kickoff event and fundraiser will feature music by Joaqu.n, Easy Compadre, and NJUNE. Immersive installations by Essentials Creative. Enjoy complimentary bites from some of the city's favorite food trucks and beverages provided by EAST sponsors. Guests are encouraged to don their most creative cocktail attire. Those interested in becoming a Big Medium Member at any level will receive a code for the member ticket price and will receive an EAST catalog mailed to new members directly.
