Austin Awards Ceremony Honors Best In Sustainable Design
Austin Green Awards highlights outstanding accomplishment in sustainable design and innovation and celebrates 2019 submissions.

AUSTIN, TX — The Austin Green Awards, Austin's first recognition program created to highlight outstanding accomplishments in sustainable design and innovation, hosts its annual ceremony celebrating submissions for 2019. Friends and colleagues celebrate with an evening of food and drinks, as submissions across a range of sustainably-focused built environmental projects are showcased.
Year after year, the Austin Green Awards spotlight the latest generation of sustainably inspired best practices to advance awareness of the various initiatives in Austin. Award recipients represent the highest standards for achieving a significant response to the rapid evolution of environmental, social and health imperatives.
The community behind The Austin Green Awards was conceived and convened as a personal initiative of Dirk Kestner, P.E. of Walter P. Moore; Bungane Mehlomakalu, P.E. of Integral Group; Gail Vittori, Co-Founder of the Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems; Travis Albreght, AIA of Gensler.
