SAFETY

ACL Music Fest has coordinated various measures to keep event-goers safe. There are designated areas within ACL should you find yourself needing help while attending the festival. Here's where you can receive assistance:

  • MEDICAL EMERGENCIES:If you or a friend need emergency assistance at the festival, go to one of our FOUR medical tents, shown on the map below. Be honest with emergency personnel – they are here to help you, NOT get you in trouble. If you see someone who looks like they need help, look for one of our staff members wearing a staff shirt or anyone with a radio.
  • STAYING SOBER?: We’ll have on-site support for fans who are sober. Visit the Sober Park area, located near the medical tent at the HomeAway Stage.
  • SEXUAL HARASSMENT & MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES: If you think you’ve been the victim of sexual violence or harassment, please report it to the nearest staff member or go to a Medical Tent for help. You can also visit SAFE for resources and information. SAFE is a merger of Austin Children’s Shelter and SafePlace dedicated to ending child abuse, sexual assault, and domestic violence. They will have a booth in ACL Cares, and you can call their 24-hour support line at 512-267-SAFE (7233). Remember: NO MEANS NO. No matter the situation, it is never ok without consent. SIMS Foundation & Hi, How Are You Project will additionally be available to provide resources for those seeking information on mental health education and support.Find resources below for immediate assistance:
    • National Sexual Assault Hotline: 1-800-656-4673
    • National Suicide Prevention Hotline: 1-800-273-8255

There will be screeners located at each entrance, and ACL Fest has implemented a bag policy to ensure optimal safety. The following shows approved and prohibited bags to bring to the festival. For additional information on policies and tips for a smooth ACL Music Festival experience, click HERE.
