Austin City Limits Oct. 4-6 Weekend 1: Your Complete Guide

Austin's highly anticipated music festival kicks-off Friday and spans the course of two weekends featuring performances, food and more.

AUSTIN, TX — Now in it's 18th year, the Austin City Limits Music Festival is the annual event where thousands flock to enjoy two consecutive weekends of musical performances from entertainers across genres, including rock, indie, country, electronic, folk and hip hop.

As one of the the city's most highly anticipated events, you can expect throngs of fans to descend on Austin's Zilker Park to enjoy the diverse lineup happening across 8 stages and featuring more than 125 performances. The best way to enjoy all ACL Music Fest has to offer is to plan ahead.

There's so much to enjoy, from music to food, merchandise and activities for kids. Here's a bit of what you can expect this coming weekend as part of ACL Weekend 1. We've also included helpful logistic information to help you navigate and get the most from the ACL Music Festival experience.

TICKET INFORMATION

Event-goers may visit the Pre-Festival Box Office located at Native Hostel on 807 E 4th St., Austin, TX 78702. Tickets may be purchased for Weekend 1 beginning Wednesday, Oct. 2nd – Thursday, Oct. 3rd from 12pm – 7pm and wristbands for either weekend can be picked up starting Wednesday, Oct. 2nd.

The Zilker Park Box Office will be open for Weekend 1 event tickets beginning Friday, Oct. 4th at Box office East from 11 a.m. – 8p.m. and Box Office West from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. & Saturday, Oct. 5th – Sunday, Oct. 6th at Box office East from 10a.m. – 8 p.m. and Box Office West from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

AUSTIN KIDDIE LIMITS

ACL Festival is a family-friendly event, and kids of all ages are welcome. There is a dedicated Family Friendly Entrance to the right of the Barton Springs East Entrance (open daily until 7 p.m.) and event-goers with children can enjoy the free Tag-a-Kid service, with kiosks located near the Austin Kiddie Limits entrance or at guest services where parents may register their child with the festival and receive an RFID wristband. Should a child be separated from their parent, ACL Festival offers a reliable and fast way to be reunited.
