Austin Cosmetic Surgery Taking Nominations To Give Breast Cancer Survivor Free Reconstruction Surgery
Breast cancer affects millions of women worldwide, and the physical and emotional toll it takes on survivors is immeasurable.
Austin, Texas -- /News Reported by LaGuardia Media and Public Relations/ -- Dr. Michelle Cabret, founder of the Austin Cosmetic Surgery is proud to announce that they are now accepting nominations for their "Pink October- Beauty and Wellness Perfected " giveaway. This giveaway offers a free breast reconstruction surgery to a deserving breast cancer survivor in the Austin community. The nomination period will run from now to October 31st, with the selected recipient being announced on November 15th.Breast cancer affects millions of women worldwide, and the physical and emotional toll it takes on survivors is immeasurable. Austin Cosmetic Surgery recognizes the importance of breast reconstruction surgery in the healing process and wants to give back to the community by offering this life-changing procedure to a deserving individual. The surgery will be performed by Dr. Michelle Cabret, a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 23 years of experience in breast reconstruction.
Recently, Dr. Cabret was named as one of the “Top 10 Cosmetic Surgeons” in Austin. She has a long history of honors and accolades, including being the first female to be accepted and excel in the joint program earning her Medical Doctorate (MD) from UT Southwestern, completing UT Southwestern’s Hospital System including Parkland Hospital’s General Surgery Internship, and acting as Chief for multiple hospitals in her 6th and final year of surgery residency.
She is joined in her practice by Dr. Kimberly Prock. Dr. Prock who earned her M.D. at Dartmouth Medical School.

Dr. Prock completed her six-year plastic surgery training as a resident in the prestigious UTSW Plastic Surgery program, which has consistently been ranked as the top plastic surgery training program in the country, renowned for its emphasis on aesthetic surgery.
"It's traumatizing to be diagnosed with breast cancer, and then go through a mastectomy," says Dr. Michelle Cabret. "We want to try to change at least one woman's life by giving back her confidence, self image and beauty that so many women lose after a cancer surgery."

To be eligible for the "Beauty and Wellness Perfected " program, nominees must be a breast cancer survivor who has completed their cancer treatment and is medically cleared for surgery. They must also be a resident of the Austin area and have a financial need for the procedure. Nominations can be submitted by friends, family, or the survivor themselves, and must include a brief description of the nominee's story and why they are deserving of the free surgery.
Dr. Cabret and the team at Austin Cosmetic Surgery are honored to have the opportunity to give back to the community and help a breast cancer survivor regain their confidence and sense of self. They hope that this program will not only provide a physical transformation but also serve as a reminder that they are not alone in their journey.
