The full-time, salaried position offers an annual salary range between $54,000 to $58,000, with a competitive benefits package that includes health care, paid sick time/paid time off, parental leave and pension plan. "Exceeding the salary range is challenging given limited city council budgets, but is negotiable," officials noted.

The position requires working nights and weekends on an as-needed basis. Residency in Austin is preferred, but not required at the time of hire. However, remote applicants must be willing to move to Austin on a mutually agreed upon timeline. "This will be discussed with all relevant applicants based on their context as we navigate the remote nature of our work due to COVID-19," officials wrote.
