Austin Families Can Enjoy Halloween Through Haunted Forest
GCI hosts its first annual trick-or-treat on the trail event for an evening on the haunted trail, plenty of treats, monster mash, and more.

AUSTIN, TX —The Ghisallo Cycling Initiative (GCI) — an Austin-based non-profit working to develop youth who safely and expertly integrate bicycling into their daily lives, to teach participants self-sufficient cycling skills, and to facilitate the experience needed for youth cyclists to be peer leaders — hosts its first annual Trick or Treat on the Trail event on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. The FREE, family-friendly Halloween event takes place along the East Austin Boggy Creek Trail at 888 Nile St.
Presented by St. David's Foundation and Austin Parks Foundation, all are welcome to enjoy an evening out trick-or-treating through the haunted forest, have photos taken at the Strut Your Stuff Stage, dance the night away at the epic monster mash party in the gazebo, and much more. Costumes are encouraged and kids will have plenty of opportunities to collect their treats at the various trick-or-treat stations set up throughout the park. There will be activities for all ages, so be sure and bring the entire family for a safe and fun experience.
Free parking available at Conley-Guerrero Senior Center, on Nile St., and the Rosewood Park, Pool and Rec Center. Please consider walking, riding a bike, taking a bus, or carpooling to the event. For more click HERE.
