Austin Holi Festival Celebrates Tradition With Colors And Dancing

The Holi Festival Day Party will be hosted by The Venue ATX on 6th St., and will feature Bollywood music, dance, delicious food, and colors.

AUSTIN, TX —Holi, considered one of the major festivals of India, is a festival of colors celebrating Spring and is a popular event held in cities throughout the world. Austin will host its first Holi Festival Day Party on 6th with an afternoon celebrating tradition and Bollywood-themed activities that promises to be a great time.

Holi Festival Day Party will be held Sunday, March 29 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at The Venue ATX located at 516 East 6th St., Austin, TX 78701. There will be music by DJ Nish & DJ Anupi, and live Dhol player, as well as Bollywood music and dance, dancing, colors, a full bar, Indian food, kid-friendly activities, and more.

Attendees are encouraged to wear white to share the full experience at this colorful party. Colored powders used in Holi represent happiness, love and the freedom to live vibrantly.
