Job Description:
- The Program Coordinator's main role is to assist the Sr. Program Director with grant recipient cases by sharing the caseload and maintaining a sufficient level of expertise to work externally with grant recipients and internally with program staff.
- After a training period, the Program Coordinator will take on a caseload of 2-3 cases per month ranging from individuals to non-profit organizations and outreach
- Maintain an efficient workload to complete grant distribution and reporting requirements on time
- Update and organize recipient information on a daily basis to ensure all cases are up to date and on the Sr. Program Director's schedule
- Troubleshoot questions and issues from grantees and potential recipients
- Lead team phone calls with the grant recipients and the Content Manager in order to obtain additional information for their donation story
- Maintain recipient follow up communication which will be supplied to the Content Manager for updates on multiple platforms, including the Chive Charities website, social media and donor newsletters
- Attendance at program-related and fundraising-related events as needed
- Monitor the application system periodically to seek out potential bugs, errors, and potential language updates.
- Work cross functionally with the development team on program related aspects of fundraising events and initiatives
- Other functions as needed
Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience in social work, psychology or related field
- Bachelor's degree in social work or related field
- Extremely strong attention to detail
- Casework experience
- Ability to communicate cross functionally
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
