AUSTIN, TX — Medics extricated a driver pinned in a vehicle following a crash along U.S. 290 on Monday evening, officials said. The vehicle rescue occurred along the 4975-5035 block of West U.S. 290 eastbound, according to Austin-Travis County EMS on Twitter. The adult patient was extricated from the wreckage after considerable effort before being transported to South Austin Medical Center for treatment of injuries medics categorized as "potentially serious."
