Austin PD Seeks Aggravated Robbery Assaults
The incident involving two suspects occurred at around 12:20 a.m. along the 9000 block of Galewood Drive on July 21, police said.
AUSTIN, TX — Police seek help from the public in identifying suspects involved in an aggravated robbery last week, officials said Wednesday.
The incident occurred at around 12:20 a.m. along the 9000 block of Galewood Drive on July 21, police said in an advisory. The two suspects, described and pictured below, approached the victim who was leaving a nearby store and held him at gunpoint while demanding his money, before striking him and fleeing on foot, police said.
The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries, police added. A crime commercial with footage of the incident is available on the APD YouTube Channel. The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1
- Black male.
- Estimated to be approximately five feet, eight inches.
- Slim build.
- Last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black pants and black shoes, white face cover, and black beanie hat.
- Armed with black semi-automatic handgun.

- Black or Hispanic male.
- Estimated to be approximately five feet, eight inches.
- Slim build.
- Last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, black face cover, and black hat.
- Armed with black semi-automatic handgun.
