Austin Police Department Seeking Community's Assistance With Aggravated Robbery Investigation

The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is requesting the community’s assistance with identifying the suspect involved in a robbery of the Mobil gas station located at 4311 Springdale Road. On November 24, 2021, the suspect entered the gas station armed with a black and silver semi-automatic style handgun. Inside the store, he displayed the handgun to the employee and demanded money.

Suspect:

• Black male
• 18-30 years of age
• Approximately 5’10”
• Very heavy build, approximately 350lbs.
• Last seen wearing:
  • Adidas red and white hooded sweatshirt with white stripes down the sleeves. Extra-large “Adidas” logo on the front of sweater.
  • Black pants
  • Black and white shoes
  • Gloves
  • White “Jason” Halloween-style mask
