Austin Police Department Seeking Community's Assistance With Robbery Investigation

On Saturday, October 2, 2021, a female victim was robbed while leaving the Chase Bank at 6600 S. Mopac Expressway. The Austin Police Department Robbery Unit is requesting the community’s assistance with identifying the suspect who later used the victim’s stolen credit cards at several convenience store locations near E. Riverside Drive and Burton Drive. The suspect, described below, entered the Tinnin Food Mart at 1516 Tinnin Ford Drive on Monday, October 4, 2021, and purchased several items with the victim’s stolen card.

Suspect:
- Hispanic male
- Mid to late 40s
- Medium build
- Approximately 5’7”
- Last seen driving a dark blue or black Ford Ranger extended cab pickup truck with chrome wheels and mud flaps.
