Austin Police Seek To Solve 2011 Homicide Case

The incident dates to Nov. 22, 2011, just before 8 a.m. when police performed a 'check welfare' call for 54-year-old David Max Tucker.

AUSTIN, TX — The Austin Police Department on Wednesday sought help from the public in solving a homicide case from 2011.

The incident dates to Nov. 22, 2011, just before 8 a.m. when police performed a "check welfare" call for David Max Tucker, 54, along the 100 block of East Riverside Drive. Upon arrival, officers and medics found Tucker not breathing with trauma on his body.

The death subsequently was ruled a homicide. His body was found near the LeBare nightclub, officers said in an advisory.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to reach out.
