Austin Symphony Orchestra Hosts Halloween Children's Concert

Families are invited to an exciting visual and auditory experience featuring frightfully beautiful orchestral music to celebrate Halloween.

AUSTIN, TX—The Austin Symphony Orchestra, Austin's oldest performing arts organization, invites you to an afternoon of beautifully spooky music at the Halloween Children's Concert! Your little ghost or goblin will help haunt the Long Center for the Performing Arts for an exciting concert that's equal parts exciting and frightfully fun.

Scheduled Sunday, Oct. 24 at 3 p.m. at Long Center's Dell Hall located at 701 W Riverside Dr, Austin, TX 78704, audiences will enjoy chills and thrills with Carolyn Watson, guest conductor and Bernedette Nason, narrator, and fun symphonic music that is stimulating for young eyes and ears (ages 2-10).

You're encouraged to join in on the fun wearing your Halloween costume, and enjoy the concert's main feature from the fairy tale opera Hansel and Gretel. The concert offers a wonderful opportunity to introduce young listeners to the wonders of live orchestral music. Click here for COVID-19 attendance protocols.
