Austin Symphony Orchestra Hosts (Virtual) Halloween Concert
The ASO online concert designed for kids ages 2-10, will feature the hauntingly entertaining music of Harry Potter and Peter and the Wolf.
AUSTIN, TX —Get the kiddos ready for a hauntingly good time this Halloween with Austin Symphony Orchestra's virtual Halloween Children's Concert, and the opportunity to listen to frightfully fun symphonic music that is stimulating for young eyes and ears (ages 2-10). The family friendly event is a chance for the entire family to don their best costumes at home and enjoy the "boo-tiful" music with the Austin Symphony Orchestra.
Scheduled Saturday, Oct. 31 at 3 p.m. will feature the theme, "Fantasy and Fable: A Fantastic Mix of Sorcery, Enchantment, and Magic", with the music of Harry Potter and Peter and the Wolf! The program will include scores by John Williams (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone: Children’s Suite) and Sergei Prokofiev (Peter and the Wolf, Op. 67).
