Austin Tequila Fest Offers Agave Lovers Tastings And Pairing

AUSTIN, TX —The Austin Tequila Society hosts its 10th annual Tequila Fest 2019 where agave lovers, enthusiasts, and connoisseurs come together to learn and taste several 110% de Agave spirits including Tequila, Mescal and Sotol.

The 21 and over event scheduled Saturday, Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. will give guests the opportunity to learn about the history of agave, as well as its production and trends, and enjoy pairing with cuisine from Central Mexico and local food vendors. The event will be held at Casa Chapala Mexican Cuisine & Tequila Bar located at 9041 Research Blvd. #100, Austin, Texas 78758.

The general admission agave trail tasting (6 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.) includes Latin music and cultural dances, along with activities such as face painting, fun yard games, a chance to support local shops and a Dia de los Muertos celebration.

The exclusive VIP social gives guests the chance to enjoy an in-depth flight tasting session and fresh cocktails, along with delicious heavy hors d'oeuvres and opportunities to win special prizes.
