Austin Traffic Alert: SH 130 Lanes Slated For Weekend Closure
Texas Department of Transportation crews will close northbound lanes this weekend so crews can safely install overhead toll equipment.
AUSTIN, TX — Texas Department of Transportation crews are slated to close the northbound SH 130 main lanes this weekend so crews can safely install overhead toll equipment, officials said on Thursday.
Beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday, crews will close the northbound SH 130 main lanes north of FM 969. Drivers will be detoured off the main lanes and through the toll gantry to re-enter SH 130 at the next entrance ramp.
All lanes are expected to reopen no later than Monday (Aug. 3) at 5 a.m.

Road signs have been placed to alert drivers of the closure. The Texas Department of Transportation asks for motorists to exercise extra caution when traveling through the work zone to keep workers safe.
