The ability to persuade others is a critical skill for any career - to convince an employer to hire us; persuade a boss to allow us to start a project; or having our coworkers help us out. This lecture offers a rational approach to persuasion: how to use personal or organizational power, deploy tactics on four planes and harness basic social influences and have others accede more easily to our requests. The session will be live-streamed in addition to the in-person workshop, though the presenter wished to highlight the value of the in-person experience is much more impactful than seeing it online. Admission: FREE. To register and for more information, click HERE. AVAYA Auditorium, POB 2.302, 201 E 24th St., Austin, TX 78712
