Austin's Annual 3M Half Marathon Expected To Attract Thousands

The popular annual race now in its 26th year is expected to draw runners from across the country as they compete for their personal best.

AUSTIN, TX —Boasting one of the fastest 13.1 mile courses in the country, the 3M Half Marathon gives runners the chance to join the more than 7,500 runners expected to convene in Austin to run their personal best. A fun and fast stand-alone half marathon, runners will enjoy a point-to-point course with mostly downhill running past some of Austin's most iconic locations, finishing downtown near the Texas State Capitol.

At the finish line, runners will receive a hefty one-of-a-kind "spinner" finisher medals and enjoy a celebration at the finish line festival complete with a beer garden. Touted by runners and publications as one of the top half marathons, you won't want to miss kicking off 2020 with this fun and legendary event now in its 26th year.
