Baby Day Celebrates First Three Years Of Childs Development

AUSTIN, TX — Baby Day, a statewide celebration of a childs first three years of life that recognizes the importance of this developmental period, will host events and activities across Texas promoting bonding and early brain development.

On Saturday, Feb. 15, the Thinkery will host a day of activities designed for infants and toddlers ages 0-3 and their families and caregivers. There will be a variety of fun activities for babies to enjoy including infant yoga, music classes, dancing, curated art, story time and more. Baby Day is FREE with Paid Standard Admission.

Standard Museum Admission Rates:
• Ages 0 – 23 Months : Free
• Ages 2 + : $14

The following is the day's event schedule:

9 a.m. - Museum opens for children 3 and under; Activity Stations open (remain open through the duration of event until 3 p.m.; Light breakfast/snack served.

9:15 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. - Infant (0-18 months) Yoga Session with ATX Yoga Girl; Story Nook

9:15 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. - Infant (0-18 months) Movement with Boost Babies; Move! Studio

9:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. - Infant (0-18 months) Yoga Session with ATX Yoga Girl; Story Nook

10:00 a.m. - Museum opens to all families

10 a.m. – 10:20 a.m. - Toddler (18-36 Months) Yoga Session with ATX Yoga Girl; Story Nook

10 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. - Toddler (18-36 Months) Movement with Boost Babies; Move! Studio

10:30 a.m. – 10:50 a.m. - Toddler (18-36 Months) Yoga Session with ATX Yoga Girl; Story Nook

10:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. - Infant (0-18 Months) Movement with Boost Babies; Move! Studio

11 a.m. - Story Time (led by Thinkery Staff); Story Nook

11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. - Toddler (18-36 Months) Movement with Boost Babies; Move! Studio

12:45 p.m. – 1:05 p.m. - Music Class with Mi Casa Es Tu Casa; Move! Studio

1 p.m. - Story Time (led by Thinkery Staff); Story Nook

1:45 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. - Music Class with Mi Casa Es Tu Casa; Move! Studio

2:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. - Music Class with Mi Casa Es Tu Casa; Move! Studio

3 PM | Baby Day concludes | Museum remains open
