Beloved Muppets Christmas Classic Screening At Bullock Museum
New generations will enjoy a multi-sensory screening of the Muppets Christmas Carol with special effects throughout the film's showing.
AUSTIN, TX — For generations, the Muppet's have entertained children of all ages by virtue of the lovable characters, never ending hijinks, and relatable stories about the underdog. Perhaps one of the most beloved Muppet stories is the 1992 movie The Muppet Christmas Carol, retelling of the Charles Dickens classic. This holiday season, the Bullock Museum invites families and new generations to enjoy a special winter-holiday, multi-sensory screening of The Muppet Christmas Carol on Sunday, Dec. 1 with showings at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The memorable screening takes place in the Museum's Texas Spirit Theater and will include special effects throughout the screening. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to explore the Museum's exciting exhibitions, as well as Free First Sunday family activities. From 12 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., attendees may drop in at family activity stations located on the second floor as part of Caritas of Austin.
Please arrive early, seating begins at 1 p.m. for the 1:30 p.m. screening, and at 3:30 p.m. for the 4 p.m. showing. All children age 4 and over must have a ticket for admission, and children under age 4 should also purchase a ticket for guaranteed seating. Guests will have the chance to enjoy snacks from the IMAX Theatre Concessions. Tickets are $5 for Bullock Museum members and $8 for general admission. For membership information, click HERE.
