Capital Metro Service Resumes With Limited Routes, Times
Capital Metro buses will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. starting on Thursday.
AUSTIN, TX — Despite below-freezing temperatures and icy precipitation in the forecast, Capital Metro is sending its fleet back out on the roads on Thursday to offer limited service on some routes.
Capital Metro buses will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. starting on Thursday, Capital Metro announced. The transit provider has also suspended fares on its buses through Sunday, "in an effort to keep people out of the cold and move them to their destinations as quickly, and safely as possible," according to Capital Metro's website.
Riders are reminded to dress in layers for warmth and to stay hydrated. They can also sign up for MetroAlerts to receive updates on bus service.
