Children's Book Fair Invites Families To Literary Adventures

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center to host a children's book fair featuring Texas-based authors and illustrators for two-day event.

AUSTIN, TX — Kids and their families will have an exciting opportunity to explore literature with the Children's Book Fair to be hosted by the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Attendees will have opportunities to meet Texas-based children's authors and illustrators at the two-day event that will also feature story time and other literary activities. The full day activities will give families the chance to discover great stories and books to take home.

The weekend event kicks off Saturday, Feb. 1 and will run through Sunday, Feb. 2 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. on both days at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center located at 4801 La Crosse Ave., Austin, TX 78739. The Children's Book Fair is FREE with the price of admission to the Wildflower Center.

There will be books to browse in the climate-controlled McDermott Learning Center, and attendees will also be able to enjoy the Family Garden and read in the little outdoor book gazebo, Lynda’s Library. The following list of authors and illustrators will be featured at the Children's Book Fair:
