City Of Austin Hosts Webinar On Hiring Practices, Techniques
Small business owners are invited to an online class taught by a UT Austin instructor on developing effective hiring techniques.
AUSTIN, TX—Small business owners are invited to a webinar to discuss hiring practices and lend insight on how to develop your own structured hiring techniques. Interviews and Hiring Employees Webinar will be hosted by the City of Austin Small Business Program and taught by University of Texas Instructor Marie Snidow, Sr. Consultant and Found of Albright Snidow —a talent management firm providing employers with a full range of services designed to develop and manage top talent.
Scheduled Thursday, Jan. 14 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., the webinar will be held via the Zoom platform and will offer insight on the impact effective hiring has on your business, and ways to better understand how to interview potential employees and how hiring for the right fit is a must for any small business owner. You'll learn structured interviewing techniques, help you to differentiate between behaviors and traits, and show you how to write effective behavioral-based questions so that you can prepare to ask the right questions when interviewing a prospective employee.
The webinar will also explore the legal environment of hiring and will help to create a defendable hiring process. The class will also count toward the 6-course requirement needed to earn your Business Skills Certification. To register and for more information, click HERE.
