City Of Austin Offers Rent Relief Assistance Amid COVID-19
Applications for the rent relief program are open through December, or until funds are depleted, with applications accepted anytime online.
AUSTIN, TX— Neighborhood Housing & Community Development and the Housing Authority of the City of Austin announce open applications for the RENT (Relief of Emergency Needs for Tenants Austin program with random selections of eligible applications held periodically until December, or as funds are depleted.
RENT offers temporary rental assistance to Austinites living within the City of Austin, and who are experiencing a COVID-19 related income loss. Applicants receiving funds through other non-federal programs, such as RISE, are still eligible to apply to the program. Applications for the random selection process must be submitted online via smart phone, mobile device, or computer with Internet access at any time during the application period.
