City-Wide Garage Sale Celebrates 42 Years Keeping Austin Vintage

Popular event welcomes shoppers to find a wide variety of bargain-priced vintage and pre-owned treasures within climate-controlled venue.

AUSTIN, TX — Since 1977, the iconic City-Wide Garage Sale has enticed a mix of shoppers from collectors, college students, interior decorators, set designers, families and the curious to explore a variety of vintage and used treasures. A marketplace for one-of-a-kind goods, the City-Wide Garage Sale's popularity continues to grow year after year as newer generations find creative ways to reduce their carbon footprint and make purchases rooted in preventing waste and wasteful spending.

You won't find imports, crafts, novelties or assorted new items at City-Wide, rather, vendors sell only vintage, preowned, and collectibles that you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else. This year, City-Wide will be held Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Palmer Events Center located at 900 Barton Springs Rd, Austin, TX 78704.

Kids 12 and under enjoy free admission, and general admission pricing is $7 and early bird (Saturday only) shoppers $12. Exhibitor information can be found HERE.
