Community Meditation Leads Austin To Healing, Contemplation
The Inauguration Meditation is a COVID-19 safe outdoor group meditation and will include a musical backdrop for a harmonious 2021.
AUSTIN, TX—Amid a new year, and looking ahead to a 2021 focused on healing and contemplation, the community is invited to a COVID-19 safe group meditation in Austin. The 90-minute Inauguration Meditation will feature a musical background to enhance your meditation on where we have been and where we are going.
The event led by Thor Harris invites friends to either sing or play one note (an A) for 90 minutes on any instruments as they surround the audience, with musicians allowed to slip into other notes, so long as they return to A.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and/or yoga mats to lay on and the event will be held Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. at dadaLab located at 2824 Real St., Austin, TX 78722. Please note, this event will follow health and safety guidelines amid the pandemic for the safety of all in attendance. Protocols include participants being physically distant, limited number of participants to the event, and temperature checks at the gate.
