The virtual event helps support local artists amid the pandemic, ahead of the rescheduled in-person event scheduled on Sept. 20.
AUSTIN, TX —The Dougherty Arts Center (DAC), Austin's oldest community arts venue offering provocative theater, music and dance performances, art exhibits, and a studio arts program for youth and adults, invite the community to a virtual event for the entire family to enjoy. Austin Art-O-Rama Virtual Event, a showcase of artists and live video demonstrations, virtual studio tours, and links to view and support local artists, takes place on Saturday, May 23 from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. CDT.
The in-person event has been rescheduled for Sept. 20, but during this challenging time, local artists need support now, and the virtual event is a chance for the community to support area talent. To learn more or register for the FREE virtual art event, click HERE.
