AUSTIN, TX —Digi.City, a platform designed to inform, inspire and connect leaders as cities advance in the digital age, will host a panel of experts discussing the future of Austin. The online event, Digi.City Virtual: The New Urban Austin, will be live-streamed on Tuesday, May 26 beginning at 12:30 p.m. CDT and will explore the impact of coronavirus on daily urban life, including discussions on remote work to downtown economic development. The virtual event will also present ideas on ways communities can collaborate to expand the social and economic benefits of 21st century technology.

Digi.City convenes the public, private and academic sectors and shares tools and advocates for policies to create more connected communities. The virtual event is part of the multi-city series "Digi.City Connects", hosting thought-provoking discussions in metropolitan areas throughout the country with local lawmakers and experts about policy implications of smart city technologies.
