AUSTIN, TX—This Christmas season, create new memories with your family with a visit to Pioneer Farms to enjoy seasonal events such as an Heirloom Christmas, Santa Visits Sprinkle Corner, Holiday Dance, workshops, and unique guided tours. For health and wellbeing of the community and staff, and to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the historic outdoor grounds have implemented safety measures recommended by local, state and federal health agencies including masks and social distancing requirements.

Sat, Dec. 19 10 a.m. - Sun, Dec 20 3:30 p.m.: A basics class for those with an interest in blacksmithing, with a fast-paced lesson in metallurgy, alloys, and non-ferrous and ferrous metals. Sign Up Now

Saturday, Dec. 19 10:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Guided walking tours through Texas history from 1841 to 1899, with a costumed guide. Tours start at the General Store in the Sprinkle Corner entrance village at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Free with admission
Saturday, Dec. 19 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.: Celebrate the holidays 1800s-style to experience the sights and sounds of holidays past. Three historic homesteads and our 1899 village will be decorated and filled with Christmas spirit, with historical crafts, and ornament making. Regular admission

Saturday, Dec. 19 7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.: JOURDAN-BACHMAN PIONEER FARMS (map). An old-fashioned, two-stepping holiday dance featuring the well-known Western Express, held with social distancing and masks in our century-old Wessels dance hall. Sponsored by Ginger Ale. Buy Tickets Now
Sunday, Dec. 20 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.: Just a few days to go before Christmas, and with our historic homesteads decked out in holiday cheer, Old Saint Nick will make a special visit to our Sprinkle Corner village to hear children’s last-minute wish lists . A unique outing for the whole family. Regular admission
