Explore The Haunted History Of Neill-Cochran House Museum
The Neill-Cochran House Museum hosts Historic Investigations and Ghost Stories to offer guests a chance to get into the Halloween spirit.
AUSTIN, TX —This Halloween, treat yourself to a truly spooktacular adventure with The Neill-Cochran House Museum's Historic Investigations and Ghost Stories for the opportunity to learn and even encounter the ghosts that haunt Austin. In partnership with the Original Austin Ghost Tours, guests will experience a memorable Halloween exploring the more than 150 years haunted history of the Neill-Cochran House Museum.
To ensure the safety of guests, staff and the community, the unique event will begin outdoors, and the museum will allow groups of no more than six will be admitted into the house at ten-minute intervals, and last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. The event scheduled Oct. 16 and Oct. 17, Oct. 23 and Oct. 24 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. kicks off the first tour on those dates at 5:20 p.m., and the last tour will begin at 9 p.m. Guests are invited to arrive early to select their preferred time slot, and tour times will be based on a first-come, first-serve basis.
In addition to the staggered entries into the house, staff will monitor crowd size to ensure safe social distancing, and any person on-site are required to wear masks at all times. Virtual Experience Details
Audiences will have the opportunity to join in on the fun via a virtual experience, with the final tour each evening scheduled to stream on Zoom. Experience the ghost stories and investigations from the comfort of home, with the Zoom room opening each evening of the event at 8:40 p.m. and tours starting at 9 p.m. For tickets to the virtual experience click on any of the links below.
